Introduction
AstroChallenge is an annual astronomy competition jointly organised by the Astronomical Societies of National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. The competition is specially tailored for students in Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges and Polytechnics. Students will be exposed to a comprehensive array of questions that range from theoretical to practical astronomy.
About Astrochallenge
AstroChallenge is held annually in June. It is hosted over the span of a few days and challenges participants in all aspects of astronomy: from theoretical papers to practical observation techniques.
Founded in 2003, AstroChallenge was first established with the goal of promoting astronomy. Ever since then, our team of organisers from NUS and NTU worked to provide participants with an educational and enriching experience.
Fast forward 18 years, AstroChallenge has developed to become one of the biggest astronomy competitions in Singapore.
